Amaema water wells were rehabilitated with funding from the Charitable Foundation of Hael Saeed Anam & Co and implemented by Humanitarian Development Program as part of the Human Development Program. A total of 61 wells of varying sizes were rehabilitated. The project had a significant impact on bringing joy and smiles to the hearts and lips of the village’s residents in general. A large quantity of drinking water was stored, sufficient until the following summer. This village had been suffering from water scarcity, with women and children having to fetch water from distant areas. The intervention in the project was like a much-needed rain to the village, planting happiness in the hearts of its people and alleviating their worries.
