Second Meeting of IPTC International Certifications Project Coordinating Committee Highlights Progress in Teacher Training in Yemen.
The Coordinating Committee for the International Professional Teaching Certification (IPTC) project held its second meeting at the headquarters of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SDRPY). The session reviewed the project’s progress and key developments across its various stages.
The project aims to train and certify 200 male and female teachers in the governorates of Hadramout, Aden, and Taiz, equipping them with an internationally recognized professional teaching qualification. This initiative seeks to enhance their competencies and improve the quality of education in Yemen.
The project is implemented by the Humanitarian Development Program (HDP) in partnership with the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Research and Studies Institute (KARSI), with support and funding from the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SDRPY) and Hail Saeed Anam Group & Co (HSA).
It is part of joint developmental efforts to advance education and strengthen the capacities of Yemen’s teaching workforce.
