Today, the Humanitarian Development Program (HDP) launched the distribution of shelter kits to 215 families in Marib Governorate, specifically in the Al-Maslahah, Adhban, Al-Saud, and Al-Mail Al-Jadeed camps. This initiative is part of the Life-Saving Shelter Assistance Project for conflict-affected communities in Marib city district and Al-Khabb wa ash-Sha’af district in Al-Jawf Governorate, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
This activity aims to support displaced families in Marib city district. Through this aid, the program seeks to alleviate the suffering of those affected and provide them with essential support to secure adequate shelter amid the difficult circumstances they face.
The initiative includes distributing 100 transitional shelters (containers) in addition to 215 shelter kits.
This launch reaffirms the Humanitarian Development Program’s commitment to responding to urgent humanitarian needs and its role in assisting the most vulnerable communities in Yemen.
